Shipping and Returns

Art and Pen paintings are packaged and shipped through 3rd party printing sources.  We calculate our shipping charges based on our third-party data. Average transit time is 3-5 business days. We only ship items to confirmed addresses, so please make sure that your order address matches your delivery address.  Free shipping is not available for returns.  Shipping charges will be determined after your order is placed.  If you’re uncertain about shipping charges and need a rough estimate, feel free to contact us with details of your order.   

Below is a List of our 3rd party standard shipping charges in the United States using UPS or USPS.

  • $13.95 plus 10% of subtotal                  Smaller unmounted prints
  • $14.95 plus 2% of subtotal                    Larger Unmounted prints
  • $14.95 Plus 10% of subtotal                 Order contains framed prints, mounted acrylics or frames by themselves.
  • $74.95 Plus 10% of subtotal                  May require wood crated shipping. Typically for large orders withstretched and mounted canvas, framed, or acrylic prints that may need to go via oversized shipping methods or freight.  In some cases, this option may not be available, due to order size and shipping rate will need to be determined.   

Orders are shipped on business days only (Monday-­­Friday). We are not responsible for refunding the cost of shipping due to postal service delays. All the orders will be promptly processed, and most orders can be shipped out in 2-3 days after the payment is confirmed.  Orders that are flagged may be asked to verify additional information and we are not responsible for the delay in processing your order.

Worldwide Shipping is available except for a few countries and APO/FPO. 

International Standard Shipping Rates:     $15.95 plus 30% of subtotal 

International Shipping costs are based on the rate above.  If your order contains items that are 24 inches or more in width or height and cannot be shipped in a tube, shipping costs may be higher. Additionally, any import tariffs, duty fees or taxes imposed by the destination country will be the responsibility of the recipient.

For USPS shipments, tracking may only be available until the package reaches its final US stop (usually in Chicago) before it is transferred to an overseas flight. However, UPS shipments generally have ongoing tracking even after the package leaves the US.

International shipping usually takes 2-4 weeks, but it may take longer if there are customs delays or incoming bottlenecks due to an emergency. The recipient may be required to pay custom fees or VAT determined by the destination country. For shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, APOs, and FPOs via the postal service, U.S. rates apply unless there are size or weight restrictions.

Before processing your order, Art and Pen will contact you to approve any additional charges (excluding custom fees or VAT) or if there are any issues with shipping large prints outside the US.

DAMAGED ITEMS

If an item is damaged during shipment, contact Art and Pen within a week of receiving your damaged print so that our 3rd party print company  can make the appropriate arrangements to have the damaged items refunded or replaced. To expedite the process please take some photos of the outer packaging, and damaged prints/products so that we can provide them to the customer service representative. 

RETURNS

Our 3rd party Print company  takes pride in producing quality prints and frames for our customers. For this reason, you can order confidently knowing they offer a 30 Day 100% Money Back Guarantee for most orders. If contacted within 30 days of the original order date, they will either replace or refund any print or product that is deemed unsatisfactory by the customer; except in the cases of “proof” ordering, or when the print company expresses concern over image quality issues such as poor resolution or potential tonal problems with the image to the customer prior to printing. And if they can’t make it right we want you to still feel that you were at least dealing with a reputable company that puts you, the customer first.

CANCELATIONS

We will do everything in our power to accept cancellation requests however there may be circumstances where it will be too late such as resources and materials that have already been used in the production of the order items or items that have already been packaged or shipped. As a result, we request any cancellation requests must be submitted by email via our contact form within 24 hours after an order is placed. Cancellations after this period may be subject to a 20% production fee which cannot be refunded. There may be exceptions for users who have a history of requiring this same item consistently, in which case we can waive the cancellation fee and utilize the product for a future order.
